Dig-Ins are back after a summer hiatus, and many LA Green Grounders attended the October Dig-In on E Colden Ave in Southeast Los Angeles’ Nadeau neighborhood (near Watts). Hosts Yasmine and Alina provided ample refreshments for the late summer heat, and all contributed to a full day of pickaxing, shoveling, weeding, and planting. What was previously grass is now a sidewalk-facing edible garden!
